I've been away for a while. I've been checking out the artwork. There's a lot of talented people out there! It's good to be posting something again.

Black and white conversion from Nikon D70. Tried simulating infra red film.

Good to see something new by you Anthony!! Long time!!
The simulated IR effect is well done although I think the overall photo has a bit too much whites. I might increase the blacks a bit or maybe even darken the grays. Just a thought. Again, good to see you back.

I think you could be right Gary. I think i'd keep the highlights on the people but maybe lose the intensity of the whites on the grass in the foreground. Cheers for the Crit.

I think the whites really do well here. Just like Jose have said. The mood and concept is right on. So warm, family mood. Fit well with thanksgiving and christmas vibe that's getting near. Good work

Hi,

Its all been said and the image is fantastic,, one tiny thing the line along the man especially the legs has a higlighted look to it.. possible select it and damped/darken it down a bit....
